Experience and Step of the TOEFL

Actually, my experience when i followed toefl tests are normal. At that time, I dont know what it is toefl, the functions for what, and what is the benefits. As a result, I have not reached the target score because of several factors, one of which I dont like English hehehe (be honest) J.

The difficulty my experienced when followed test toefl is when the listening comprehension test. This sessions that I think is the most difficult because it takes a high concentration. Sometimes there are some sentences that are less obvious because the conversation was too fast. In addition we have to focus, we also have to understand in every senses of the spoken word to be able to answer every questions.

For grammar structure and written expression, the most often appears that is issues subject and verb. It will be difficult when we have not mastered the verb in English because this section we were had instructed that we can choose more on grammar tenses, preposition, and enhanced spelling in English language.

And the last reading comprehension. The Reading Comprehension section takes about 60-100 minutes. You will get 3-5 short texts (about 700 words) about a general academic topics (e.g. astronomics, history, biology, etc.). Each text is followed by 12-14 multiple-choice questions that refer to the content of the text as well as the grammar. The time limitation is quite tight, we are required to quickly understand the meaning of each word and then re-read certain sections if needed, to be able to answer every questions correctly and accurately.

So, if you want to get a score on target, increasing exercise in answering any questions it is needed. Thereby, we will be familiar and easy to answer the question. And the first most important thing is we must be love English so as not to get bored and fun.
